For a fee we can provide you with a comprehensive garden design - a plan for turning your dream garden into a reality. If we undertake the full work the fee will be deducted from the final cost.

Initial consultation & site survey
Firstly Nick will meet with you to discuss your dream garden; the style, the main features you require, and what use it will have. He will look closely at any photos or inspiration you may have collected, but don't worry if you don't have any - we have a portfolio of ideas a designs and can provide you with solutions for your garden.
He then completes a full site survey and takes pictures.

Concept Design
Based on all the information gathered, a design will be created using a concept plan. This highlights functional areas, aesthetics and planting areas. It may also annotate the flow or journey around the garden, so you can see how you will be able to use and move around your newly designed space. At this stage, changes, edits and additions can easily be made.

Master Plan
After the concept has been agreed upon, we will create the master plan. This is a comprehensive and detailed plan drawn to scale containing all the elements and specifications necessary to construct the proposed garden, including areas, features, details, levels, requirements and measurements.
Each garden design features a carefully chosen plant palette to meet the site’s theme, aspect and soil conditions.
Permaculture Design

A permaculture garden is a designed to mimic nature so that you can garden organically, encourage the right wildlife and have a low-maintenance garden all in one. Permaculture gardens are for the most part, self-sustaining. In other words, you'll give a little and gain a lot with this technique.
The specific term permaculture was coined by Bill Mollison in the 1970s and literally means "permanent agriculture." It refers to the constant cycling that happens in this type of garden throughout the seasons.
With qualifications in permaculture design, Bluestone Landscaping Pembrokeshire can bring these principles to any garden, always aiming for a low maintenance and high output garden that benefits the wider enviroment.
